Jennifer & Alan- Married- Southbridge/West Brookfield, MA

Jennifer and Alan met while attending Art school. They are both teachers of one of my favorite subjects; ART! The day started off with Jennifer at the Vienna Restaurant & Historic Inn in Southbridge.  Such a beautiful place!  This place totally blew my mind!  Let's just say sensory overload!  We headed over to the church, had a beautiful Mass then went to the reception held at The Salem Cross Inn in West Brookfield, MA.  Another amazing venue to throw me into sensory overload.  Enjoy the teasers and be sure to watch their slideshow by clicking the play button at the end of this post. :-)

Some details I grabbed while the girls were getting ready.

There is just something about this, I LOVE!!!

The Ceremony.
LOVE this too!

The weatherman forcasted thunderstorms! So glad he was SO WRONG!

Thanks for having me Jennifer and Alan and congratulations.  Thanks to Amanda for assisting me on this wedding.

Matt & Taylor - Married - St. Clements Castle

I hope no one goes into cardiac arrest at the amazement that I am blogging again. This wedding season has totally snuck up on me but I am so excited to share so many shoots and weddings with you. Starting with Matt and Taylor's wedding. It was a gorgeous day with a gorgeous couple and wedding. Taylor is an amazing person. So enthusiastic about life. She had me in tears as most of my brides do. Take a look at her beautiful wedding with a few images.

Here is beautiful Taylor as her mother helps her with her jewelry.
Pretty details.  The lace under the satin ribbon on Taylor's dress was from her grandmother's wedding dress, so awesome!

Announced husband and wife.

I couldn't ask for more beautiful light.
What to do when the groomsmen are being silly.  Go with it!  Capture it!  True personality!
The girls showed their personalities too!
Matt and Taylor had a beautiful dance routine.

Father/daughter dance.
Matt was a Marine and most of his guest were his marine buddies.  They ended the night with serenading Taylor.  "You've lost that love and feeling......whoa, that love and feeling....You've lost that love and feeling...now it's gone, gone, gone...whoa, whoa, whoa.  Badum, badum"  Sorry if it gets stuck in your head because I know it's stuck in mine now.
Enjoy the slideshow.  Thanks to Nikki Nicole for team shooting this with me!

Erica & Frank - Married

Erica and Frank had such a beautiful wedding.  Surrounded by friends and family the vowed to love another for the rest of their lives. Here are just a few of the images captured on their special day.  A special thank you to the staff of Water's Edge Resort & Spa for being so attentive.

Her shoes and dress were gorgeous!
Stunning!

We were lucky enough to end up behind them on our back from the church to the Water's Edge
Frank and his crew.
America's Top Models are what?
WooooHooooo!
Had to incorporate some texture!
One of my fav's of the day!

Love the bubbles during their first dance!
During the Mother - Son dance, Erica held their daughter as she watched; I love how the bond of this family shows in this moment.

Frank and Erica were a joy to work with.  I truly felt like a guest rather than a vendor.  A huge shout out to Candace Jeffery for teaming up with me on this one :-)

Patty and Tim-Married-Stamford, CT/New Rochelle, NY

It's no secret that I LOVE to shoot weddings.  I also love teaming up with other awesome photographers.  It's so fun to see and experience different shooting styles and techniques.  I had an amazing time shooting with my friends and the oh so talented duo, Candace and Josh Jeffery of Candace Jeffery Photography.  It was a great pleasure to meet Patty and Tim, their friends and family.  The day started out in Stamford, CT. with the girls.  I can't tell you how excited I was to see the fabulously talented Naomi Martinez working make-up on the girls.

Here Naomi is giving a final touch up to Patty's Lip Gloss.
What's a Val wedding post without a shoe shot.  Gotta have a fun shoe shot!  When I saw this safe in the room where the bride was getting ready; I saw this in my head.  I had to bring to life, especially with the way the light was coming in.

Patty as she's changing into her beautiful gown.
It was an emotional moment for Patty's grandmother and father to see her in her gown for the first time.  I love that her father is capturing the moment with a Canon :-)
Beautiful Bride, Patty.

Yep, chipmunk on crack excited about the flare and how it made her veil just glow.
The stone bridge at Binney Park in Greenwich and colors were beautiful of course I couldn't help but to "Valerize" this image.
The Fountain Head in New Rochelle, NY  was amazingly beautiful and the details amazing!
I loved the lightening by Jimmy Dee Productions.  I adjusted my settings, no flash to capture the moment.
More fun candids during the reception.

Father and daughter dance.  Yeah it brought tears to my eyes.

The shot above and below are the most powerful of the night.  Tragically Tim's family was killed in a horrific car accident.  Patty's mother danced the mother/son dance with Tim.  There was not a dry eye in the room.  Including mine.
Thanks so much Candace and Josh for having me along it was a blast!  Thanks to Patty, Tim and family for welcoming me along as well.

Be sure to check out Candace's documentation of this day part1, part2, part3 & part4
