Quadruple "B" - Stands for Beautiful Brinley, Brandi and Belly. We all had so much fun Thursday. Brinley was full of smiles and laughter how could I not snap some shots of her as she giggled. Her beautiful blue eyes lit the room. Brinley will be a big sister all too soon. Her mommy Brandi is expecting her baby sister's arrival very soon. Brandi wanted to remember these precious moments by having me record such a precious moment in time. I hope it's all if not more than she asked for.

Who says pregnant isn't sexy?
Talk about bringing sexy back! This is Martha; she has the cutest belly I have ever seen. No stretch marks, Perfectly rounded belly, no weird marks or hairs. This girl walked in wearing NON-Maternity size 5 pants. She was up for ANYTHING, WOW! She bears the most beautiful eyes you'd ever see. I had fun with this one. I hope I didn't get too carried away; I "Valerized"

Zoo Field Trip
Last week I volunteered to be a chaperon for my son's second grade class field trip. While there isn't a wide variety of resident animals at this zoo the kids still had a great time. I am planning on creating a memory book of the great time they had and the animals we saw and visited. The funny thing is of all the animals at the zoo they enjoyed the peacocks that were roaming around most of all. I must say; so did I. They are just so beautiful. Anyhow, here are some of the creatures I captured. My son must of said, "Mom take a picture" a million times that day; well maybe not a million but you catch my drift ;-)
Gorgeous kitty cat :-)
She looks so sad :-(
Peacocks are amazingly beautiful creatures!!!

Buddies
One thing I love to see are any pictures I have of myself as a child with childhood friends. I don't have many of them since usually I was behind the camera :-) . The ones I do have I truly cherish. It brings me back to that moment. There are times when I see a picture and I remember that moment as if I watching a chapter in my life unfold in motion.
I want my children to have precious memories of themselves growing up. Recently after my son visited with his best friend I grabbed my camera and grabbed some buddy shots. You know the type of image that can be played at their wedding montage one day as the other stands next to him as his best man.
This little boy is absolutely adorable! Such a pleasant little guy. I captured a few for his mommy to keep as well.

Hello Baby Nathan, Nice to meet you :-)
It was so heart warming to meet this new little guy, Nathan. Kellee (his mommy) contacted me to schedule a maternity session with me but Nathan would be here too soon. Even though this little guy is only 3 weeks old he was very alert and hungry. He is definitely a beautiful baby. Congratulations Kellee and Joe!
Yawning babies are so adorable! (O.K. so did you just yawn?, lol)
Beautiful baby feet. I just love little tiny baby feet :-)
His eyes really make a statement with his special blanket under him.
Aren't they both so beautiful?

Is that Celine Dion?
Claudia of Fabuluxe Photos with whom I recently shot a wedding with wanted some portraits that she could add to her website and blog. She has been in search of a photographer with the style of her preference for quite some time. What an honor that she asked and trusted me with the task of capturing and editing Claudia at her best. I am very pleased with the outcome of her portraits. Not only is she a great photographer but a model as well. My favorite pick I would say is the first one. Doesn't she remind you of Celine Dion? I had so much fun climbing rocks and trees for that perfect shot. Now, let me see if we could trash her wedding dress in a "Trash the dress session"
If anyone else is up for a fun session in the sun contact me asap as my calendar is booking up :-)

The Dash
I recieved this around Thanksgiving of last year and it really touched me. I would like to share it here because it really means so much to me.
The Dash
I read of a man who stood to speak at the funeral of his friend. He referred to the dates on her tombstone from the beginning.....to the end. He noted that first came the date of her birth and spoke of the second with tears, but he said that what mattered most of all was the dash between those years. For that dash represents all the time that she spent alive on earth, and now only those who loved her know what that little line is worth. For it matters not, how much we own; the cars, the house, the cash. What matters is how we live and love and how we spend our dash. So think about this long and hard, are there things you'd like to change? For you never know how much time is left. (You could be at"dash mid-range.") If we could just slow down enough to consider what's true and what's real, and always try to understand the way other people feel, and....be less quick to anger, and show appreciation more and love the people in our lives like we've never loved before. If we treat each other with respect, and more often wear a smile, remembering that this special dash might only last a little while. So, when your eulogy is being read with your life's actions to rehash.....would you be pleased with the things they haveto say about how you spent your dash?

How do Elephants get to the Circus?
I always wondered how they can get so many animals to the circus, going from city to city. It's just one of those odd questions I always had. I finally got my answer.
I had a blast on Mother's Day. A new Backup external drive from my husband and kids along with balloons and cards, a trip to the circus front and center, followed by dinner at Chowder Pot 4. Somewhere in between we went out to the train yard to watch the elephants load into the trains. All the performers and animals travel by their very own circus train.
After the circus, we drove down to the train yard where they keep the circus train while in Hartford. I pulled out my camera and we waited for the animals to arrive, well, mainly the elephants. While I was there some of the performers dressed in civilian clothes (Thank goodness, could you imagine, lol.) came up to me and asked me about my camera and lens. They asked if I would take their picture. They were acrobats on big overblown bouncy tires in the show. There is probably a better description for their part but that's the best I can do.
If you ever wondered how to get an elephant into a train car well here you go. Oh and the talented circus performers, if you are reading this GREAT JOB see ya next year.
